Baosteel signed a cooperation agreement with Hengyang Valin Steel Tube to construct a P92 large diameter steel pipe plant for ultra-supercritical pressure boilers.

Hengyang Valin Steel Tube is a subsidiary of Hunan Province-based Chinese Hunan Valin Iron & Steel, a large-scale seamless steel tube and pipe manufacturer.

Under this agreement, Baosteel will supply P92 tube billets while Hengyang Valin Steel Tube will manufacture steel pipes and complete product assessment
